Supportive housing nominated for The President of Warsaw Architecture Award

The supportive housing complex which we completed last year in Warsaw has been nominated for The President of Warsaw Architecture Award in the category of: “Architectural Event.”

The seven apartments which make up the complex serve foster care alumni, helping them in their transition to independent and adult living.

Learn more on the page of the project: Supportive housing for young adults leaving foster care in Warsaw.

We are grateful to everyone who contributed to making the project happen and especially to:

  • the architects who designed the supportive housing complex: F A A B Architektura Białobrzeski | Figurski,
  • the artists who painted murals in the apartments: Adam Walas from XOLOR, Daria Gołąb and Marta Banaszak,
  • all the donors as well as over 260 volunteers from 15 countries who took part in the works at the build site.

The effect of our joint efforts shows that great architecture can be developed through grassroots, non-profit initiatives.
