Materialne wsparcie przed zimą dla uchodźców z Ukrainy
Obecnie liczba uchodźców z Ukrainy przybywających do Polski zwiększa się. Wraz z nastaniem mrozów, będzie ich prawdopodobnie jeszcze więcej, ponieważ nie będą w stanie przetrwać zimy w zniszczonych domach, bez ogrzewania i prądu. Przybywając do Polski, uchodźcy zazwyczaj najpierw trafiają do dużych ośrodków noclegowych, w których spędzają kilka miesięcy.
Na każde 100 osób tam przebywających 40 stanowią kobiety, 40 to dzieci a 20 to mężczyźni – głównie seniorzy i osoby schorowane. Ludzie ci mieszkają w dość ciężkich warunkach, na małej przestrzeni, nawet starsze osoby śpią na łóżkach polowych albo piętrowych. Toalety są wspólne.
Potrzeby są ogromne. Potrzebne są tysiące sztuk odzieży, pościeli koców. Brakuje grzejników, bo to są często budynki wymagające remontu.
Fundacja Habitat for Humanity Poland przygotowała projekt pod nazwą „Ciepły dom”, którego celem jest pomoc 1000 osobom mieszkającym w ośrodkach w Warszawie i jej okolicach.
Dostarczymy przedmioty do przetrwania zimy
W ramach projektu zamierzamy dostarczyć przedmioty niezbędne do przetrwania zimy takie jak: łóżka, materace, kołdry, koce, grzejniki elektryczne i co najważniejsze ciepłą odzież – kurtki, buty, kombinezony dla dzieci, czapki, bluzy polarowe.
Projekt jest finansowany z pomocy zagranicznej, a także ze środków sponsorów, takich jak np. firma Henkel.
My jesteśmy w stanie zapewnić pomoc dla około 1000 osób w 10 ośrodkach – część to ośrodki państwowe a część prywatne, prowadzone przez organizacje pozarządowe. Będziemy starali się bezpośrednio zakupić część rzeczy takich jak grzejniki, materace, koce, pościel. Ze względów logistycznych, ale też sanitarnych, kupujemy i dostarczamy tylko rzeczy nowe. Jeśli chodzi o odzież, to zamierzamy zakupić karty podarunkowe, umożliwiające zakup odzieży, tak aby ludzie mogli sami dobrać jej rozmiar, typ kolor i kupić to co im się podoba i co uważają za słuszne.

Nasz budżet pozwala zaopatrzyć pojedynczą rodzinę w odzież i buty zimowe o wartości jedynie 500 zł, co nierzadko jest niewystarczające w przypadku rodzin z kilkorgiem dzieci. Dzięki Waszemu wsparciu będziemy mogli lepiej przygotować potrzebujące rodziny na zimę.

MATERIAL SUPPORT BEFORE WINTER FOR UKRAINIAN REFUGEES
Currently, the number of Ukrainian refugees arriving in Poland is increasing. As the cold weather sets in, there are likely to be even more of them, as they will not be able to survive the winter in dilapidated houses without heating and electricity. Arriving in Poland, refugees are usually first placed in large accommodation centers, where they spend several months.
For every 100 people staying there, 40 are women, 40 are children and 20 are men – mainly senior citizens and sick people. These people live in rather harsh conditions, in a small space, even the elderly sleep on field beds or bunk beds. Toilets are shared.
The needs are enormous. Thousands of items of clothing, bedding blankets are needed. There is a shortage of heaters, as these are often buildings in need of renovation.
The Habitat for Humanity Poland Foundation has prepared a project called „Warm Home” to help 1,000 people living in centres in and around Warsaw.
WE WILL PROVIDE ITEMS TO HELP PEOPLE SURVIVE THE WINTER
As part of the project, we intend to provide items necessary to survive the winter such as beds, mattresses, quilts, blankets, electric heaters and, most importantly, warm clothing – jackets, boots, overalls for children, hats, fleece blouses.
The project is financed by foreign aid and also by sponsors such as Henkel.
We are able to provide assistance to around 1,000 people in 10 centres – some state-run and some private, run by NGOs. We will try to directly purchase some items such as heaters, mattresses, blankets, bedding. For logistical reasons, but also for sanitary reasons, we only buy and deliver new things. As far as clothing is concerned, we are going to purchase gift cards to buy clothes so that people can choose their own size, type of color and buy what they like as they see fit.
